Last night dad started having pain in his right shoulder and still had it today. He was hurting pretty bad so they decided to do an x-ray to check it out and they also did a test to check to see if the blood clot in his right arm was still there. The x-ray didn't show any reason for dad to be hurting. I asked the nurse if it could be that he didn't get to do physical therapy yesterday (after doing it everyday all week) and she said it could be. As for the blood clot.......it's gone! YAY! I'm glad because having a blood clot is never a good thing, now maybe they will stop giving dad those shots in the tummy, and I can relax about everyone trying to take blood or blood pressure on that arm. No one every seemed to read the sign on the wall telling them not to do anything with that arm.
That's about it really. Dad's shoulder was hurting pretty bad all day and when they gave him something for pain it made it sleepy. So he was either sleeping or complaining all day. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. Maybe they/me can get him to move his right arm some and it will work out the pain somehow.
Keep those prayers going up for dad and me.
