rehab day 22

Short entry. I stayed home today with a sore throat. But talked to dad several times on the phone.

During dad's physical therapy he took 23 steps!!!!! And after resting for 10 minutes or so he took 23 more steps!!! He says he wasn't as steady on his feet with the last 23 steps, but who cares? He is going to be walking soon I just know it.

The site where his feeding tube was has closed up. Dad said the wound care nurse was in today to change all the dressings and wound vac and she told him the wound from the feeding tube was all healed up (closed up) and all the redness around the site is gone. Yay, no more leaking stomach acids!!!

Keep those prayers going up for dad and me.
