First let me say to Mr TP I am so sorry I did not update yesterday. There really wasn't anything to update but because you threatened to chase me with a stick I will do my best to write something every day.
Today the speech therapist came to watch dad eat. Sounds weird I know. The speech therapist is the one that helps dad with swallowing exercises and those effect the way you eat. She wanted to watch dad eat to see if they can get him off the pureed food and on to regular food.
Dad is eating all the pureed food they bring him and was starting to feel really full so they are stopping the feeding tube feeding to just during night hours. It was a 24 hour a day thing so I take this as a good thing. I will be so happy when he is to the point they can take the feeding tube out.
Today they are doing physical therapy twice. In the morning they worked out his arms and this evening they will work with his legs.
Dad seems to be handling where he is ok and is cooperating with all the therapist - so far anyway.
Don't forget to keep dad and me in your prayers.
Jimmy -- Gwen's (Aunt Betty's daughter) husband was to have had surgery today (knee replacement on both knees) so don't forget them in your prayers.
