Today the occupational therapist started working with dad. He (the therapist) was really surprised at how well dad did. Daddy got on the side of the bed by himself and into a wheelchair with little help. Yay!
The occupational therapist had dad give himself a "bath". Dad managed to wash his upper body before he gave out. I am so proud of him for trying and doing better than he thought he could.
The tube feedings dad gets has been changed to just nightly. They cut it off during the day. This is good news. I am still hoping that when dad sees the doctor Monday maybe we can get the feeding tube taken out.
Keep those prayers going up for dad and me.

Oops....totally forgot. Today is week 12 from dad's original surgery.
