rehab day 41

Dad seems to be getting weaker instead of stronger. He is having problems sitting up and getting into the wheelchair. I have talked to the physical therapist, nurses and sent word to the doctor. So far all I have heard is maybe dad isn't eating enough to get all the nutrition he needs. I thought he was eating all that was brought to him. I dunno.

Daddy is getting depressed over all of this. He is starting to feel that he won't ever walk and maybe never get home.

He does all they ask of him in physical therapy, he is not as steady on his feet as he was. The therapist have noticed this and have been talking amongst themselves as to what might be happening. This is something that needs to be handled because if he slides downhill much more he may not be able to pull himself out of it.

Keep those prayers going up for dad and me.
