rehab day 30
Sorry I haven't written in a few days.
Thursday dad got a little dizzy when he started to walk so the therapist told he that they couldn't do it that day.
Friday the physical therapist wasn't there so dad didn't get to walk any.
Also on Friday the wound vac stopped working. I knew from the beginning it was on it's last leg and sure enough it finally died. They put a wet to dry dressing on dad's wound and it was supposed to be changed every 4 hours. Well that didn't happen. It was attended to once on 2nd shift and once on 3rd shift. And then all they did was to put a little hole in the tape over the wound and used a syringe to wet the dressing down. grrrrr...... Thankfully the new wound vac came in today and there was actually a wound nurse on duty to redress the wound and apply the wound vac.
Keep those prayers going up for dad and me
