Dad is doing great. He is walking without a walker now.
Long story short: fired dad's nurse and with the new one his wound is healing up much better and much faster. It still has a ways to go but I have confidence in the new nurse.
Dad's surgeon won't operate on dad (to do a skin graft or to reverse the colostomy) because he said dad would only have a 50/50 chance of living through the surgery. This upsets dad but I keep telling him not to worry. There are worse things than having a colostomy bag and besides I am the one the cleans/changes it.
Keep those prayers going up for dad and me.
