Dad didn't exactly fall this morning, a CNA was with him and he started going down. He was on his knees and she couldn't get him up or down. With help they got him laying on the floor. Then they had to get something to lift him up with because no one could get him back up on his feet. The rest of today he can't sit up on the side of the bed without getting real dizzy and starts to fall.
The cardiac doctor is stopping some of dad's medicines and since he fell this morning the decision was made to keep him at The Oaks until Monday so they could watch him for any side effects of stopping the medicines. And the fact that he can't even sit on the side of the bed without being dizzy had me worried about bringing him home. Luckily Medicare will pay until Wednesday so I don't have to worry about that.
