Update

Daddy did have a heart attack when he was in the ER.

Around lunchtime today dad had had 4 units of blood. They are working on getting his blood up to a certain point before they run the light down into his stomach and verify that is where he is bleeding from.

Yesterday dad pulled out his IV twice and his colostomy bag once. He doesn't remember doing any of this. But because of this -- he was alone when he did it -- I had the nurse ask the doctor to order dad a sitter. If the doctor says he needs it then the insurance should pay for it. So dad has a sitter 24/7 at the moment.

I went to The Oaks yesterday and signed papers for them to hold dad's bed there. However the days when dad isn't there Medicare won't pay so dad will have to pay for these days. I am hoping that by the end of the week dad will be back at the Oaks. I don't know how long we can pay to hold his bed
