Not much going on with dad today. I guess that is a good thing!
The nurse said that dad's blood pressure is holding in a good range -- until they mess with him and it goes way up but they are able to get it down in a short amount of time. I guess when they are moving him or changing his dressings it causes pain and that runs up his blood pressure.
They are monitoring his temperature which was normal today. I wish I hadn't asked where the monitoring sensor was......
Nurse P said that dad could respond to commands. You have to work with him a little though. You can't just say squeeze my hand and he do it right away, you have to work with him and say it over and over to get him to respond. So maybe when I thought his finger was just twitching maybe he was trying to squeeze my hand? Yay!
Please keep the prayers going up for dad and me.
